OVERVIEW
Surge Protective Device is used to limit the transient overvoltage and take surge current, providing protections from surges caused by indirect lightning, direct lightning or other transient overvoltage.
SPD have protective modes like phase-phase, phase-earth, phase-neutral, neutral-earth and etc.
SKD series SPD belongs to one terminal type SPD. It is the dedicated product designed for the lightning protection in power systems. SPD protect circuit devices by releasing the massive pulse engergy caused by induced lightning strikes on circuit, short-circuit discharge to earth , reducing the potential difference between device interfaces.
