The Lantern Festival arrives, bringing joy and celebration. The Lantern Festival, also known as the Shangyuan Festival, occurs on the fifteenth day of the first lunar month. In ancient times, the night was referred to as "Xiao," and the first full moon of the lunar year was called the Lantern Festival.
On February 12, 2025, AISIKAI organized a Lantern Festival event themed "Lights Reflecting the Milky Way, Unity and Progress Together." The event featured a fun-filled lantern riddle session and interactive games. Amidst the warmth and joy of this festive occasion, everyone came together to share happiness and spend quality time!
Celebrating the Lantern Festival, Together in Unity
Fun Lantern Riddles
At the event, various lantern riddles were hung up. Participants either pondered the answers alone or discussed them in groups, competing to solve them. Sparks of inspiration were flying, as everyone enjoyed the charm of traditional culture while gaining knowledge and fostering communication in the process.
The prize exchange area was bustling with activity, as people eagerly brought their completed riddles to collect surprise red envelopes.
Interactive Games
In addition to the traditional riddle-solving, we also organized games like "Throwing Lanterns," "Fishing for Lanterns," and "Lucky Rolling Fun," creating an exciting atmosphere at the event.
Throwing Lanterns
In this game, participants threw lantern-shaped items into cups, each containing a prize-winning note. Those who landed in a cup with a prize received a corresponding reward.
Fishing for Lanterns
This game involved using long chopsticks to pick up ping-pong balls. The player who could collect the most in 30 seconds won a prize.
Lucky Rolling Fun
In this game, participants rolled a bottle of soda across a canvas with various sections. Wherever it stopped, they received the prize corresponding to that section.
Tasting Lantern Festival Dumplings
Lantern Festival dumplings, also known as tangyuan, are an essential traditional food of the Lantern Festival, symbolizing reunion and happiness. After being boiled, the dumplings' soft, sticky outer skin and sweet, flowing filling bring warmth and sweetness with every bite.
The event came to a close amidst laughter and cheer. It created a strong festive atmosphere, allowing everyone to experience the charm of Chinese traditional festivals. It also strengthened team cohesion, boosted morale, and inspired AISIKAI people to remain determined and forge ahead. This momentum will power us toward achieving a successful start to all our work in 2025.
The Lantern Festival is not only a beautiful celebration of reunion but also a marker for the beginning of the new year. It symbolizes anticipation and hope, brightness and beauty, and signifies that, under the glow of the lanterns, we will continue to pursue our dreams and march forward with determination.
In the new year, AISIKAI will remain customer-focused, committed to providing excellent service, and delivering an even better experience for our customers.
